Pay particular attention to the spelling of words and how the sentences are arranged. You should follow the link provided on the front page to the Jim Humble story and read about this individual. Again, pay attention to how the website uses written language to communicate its message, including spelling and sentence structure.
Then I want you to watch the video in the module where Dennis talks about MMs. After that, I want you to follow the link to the MMS Retailer that lets you purchase MMS. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. Instead, browse the website and see what products they are selling. As always, take note of what kind of written communication is being used to persuade you to buy these products.
After completing these tasks, I want you to watch the Youtube video where they claim to have cured Malaria in Uganda. The communication in this film is obviously not written, but I want you to pay attention to the kinds of claims they make. Once you have completed these activities, I want you to research the following things, and put them in a works cited using MLA.
That means create a works cited and put each source you find on these topics in it and format it properly. 1) Find information on Chlorine Dioxide2) Find information on the Genesis Two Church and Harris County, Texas3) Research the origin of aspirin (Why I want you to research this won’t be obvious until we have our discussion in class.)4) Research Jim Humble.
See if you can find out how wealthy he is and where he lives. Post your research on the discussion forum and comment on the research of two other students. I want you to see whether your research matches what others found. Did you find the same things? Did you miss something? Did your classmates miss something?
