Description/Paper Instructions: Infographic Business Communication Tool Part 1 The following is the instruction for the main project. Business Communication professionals are expected to be up to date on communication technology. They must be aware of new technology and trends and provide leadership and advice on how they can best be used to effectively communicate with stakeholders. As a result, employees are often consulted by management in order to demonstrate the appropriate use of new technologies and are specifically asked to provide counsel on how they can be used to reach and engage the public, as well as the risks that might be involved in their use. With that in mind, you will work in groups of five and provide a five page recommendation report and an infographic on the use of a communication/collaboration tool that can help an organization communicate and connect with its stakeholders (internal or external). Although it is a group project, I need you to finish the whole project. The report should cover the following:
Document format: informational memo report Font: Times Roman or Arial font 12 Documentation style: APA format References: Figures 11.1, 11.3, 11.4, 12.5, 12.9, and Checklist on page 328 In addition to the memo report, each team is required to create an infographic. The infographic will be assessed on the following items: 1. logic of information 2. page design 3. concise text 4. grammar, spelling, mechanics 5. imagery For the references, simply add the URLs at the end of the infographic. This is the second part of the project. You could finish this as a single file.
You are asked to create an infographic for research you’ve already completed when you completed your report. Create an information “story” that has a focal point. You can then create the infographic, meeting the criteria listed in the grading rubric. The “Story” Good infographics present information that matters to the reader, making links between ideas and imagery to make the information compelling and focused. The information is presented in a logical sequence—hence, the information can be said to have a beginning, middle, and end, like a story. Yet, unlike a story, the text is quite sparse though concrete. Refer to the Infographics tab on Blackboard for more information. The infographic will be graded with the focus on the following items:

Please be sure to test the link to ensure it works by sending yourself a test message via email. You will find a sharable link when you click on the “Share” icon on your infographic template. Do not use the url. in the browser. For the references, simply add the URLs at the end of the infographic. The infographic is worth 15 percent of your final grade.
