SCENARIO: We have to create an airline based in UAE. The aim of this project is that our team (Buyers) will negotiate with another team (Sellers) in the United Arab Emirates. The other team (Sellers) is a Japanese company who sell cabin crew uniforms. we are looking for 100 cabin crew uniforms to buy. We need to negotiate with them to buy the the 100 cabin crew uniforms for a price that will be good for us (the currency will be in American dollars). Our team (Buyers) will negotiate with the other team (Sellers) on price, delivery conditions, and legalities.
Guidelines:
You should:
- Write a Contract Negotiation Plan (1000-1250 words) detailing the 5 essential elements:
(1) Selected contract negotiation strategies (check the picture I attached as a file)
(2) Selected contract negotiation tactics and counter tactics (check the picture I attached as a file)
(3) Desired terms & conditions; (check the picture I attached)
(4) List of ‘must haves’ and
(5) Selected pricing range.
DO NOT FORGET:
- You must prepare an introduction, pricing, delivery conditions, legalities and conclusion.
- Include the vision, mission, and goals and objectives of our company in the introduction.
- Talk about our product (100 cabin crew uniforms) quality, and the product DETAILS.
- REFER TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC SITUATION GOING ON. THIS AFFECTS EVERYTHING. For example: every step in our production process is monitored carefully to ensure sanitization for health and safety measures. Another example is that our delivery could take a little longer than our regular standards, because cargo is prioritizing medical supplies. HOWEVER, we can agree on a specific date beforehand to ensure on time delivery. As you know, the coronavirus is affecting everything in the economy. When mentioning this, make sure to make our company look good and positive.
- In the desired terms and conditions section (check the guidelines), include a waiver, a condition subsequent and condition precedent. (I attached a file that explains exactly what a condition subsequent and condition precedent is).
- IN THE END, include a List of References identifying all of your sources.
